Since 22 December 2024, Prof. Wada has been in Japan for scientific collaboration with Prof. Shingo Kazama at Nagoya University. Their work focuses on characterizing SiPMs sensitive to xenon scintillation light and developing cryogenic readout electronics as part of the Probes project, funded by the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange call.
During his stay, Prof. Wada participated in the ITDC Platform workshop, organized by KEK at Nagoya University, where he delivered an oral presentation. He introduced Astrocent’s activities and discussed potential future collaborations with Japanese institutions.
