An important milestone – the first defense of a doctoral thesis at AstroCeNT!<\/p>
On March 22, Theo Hugues, a joint (cotutelle) student of AstroCeNT\/NCAC and Laboratoire AstroParticule & Cosmologie \/\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, successfully defended his doctoral thesis “Search for Dark Matter with Liquid Argon Detectors” under the supervision of prof. Ku\u017aniak and Dr. Franco.<\/p>
The new title is a huge achievement for Theo, his supervisors and the entire AstroCeNT team! As Theo begins the next phase of his research career, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful postdoctoral fellowship at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.<\/p>
