From July 26th to August 3rd, Nagoya University hosted the ICRC conference<\/a>, a global gathering of astroparticle physicists. Commission C4 (Astroparticle Physics) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP<\/a>) has biennially organized this event since 1947. The conference covers a wide range of topics, including Cosmic Ray Physics, Gamma-Ray Astronomy, Neutrino Astronomy & Neutrino Physics, Dark Matter Physics, Solar and Heliospheric Physics, Multi-messenger Astronomy, and, in the 2023 edition, a new topic: Gravitational Wave Astronomy.<\/p> ICRC2023 serves as an exceptional platform for scientists worldwide to enhance their knowledge base and explore innovative ideas. Our colleague Dr. Marek Walczak, a member of AstroCeNT group 1, was honored <\/span><\/span><\/span>to participate in this significant event this year. He delivered an oral presentation titled \u201cSearching for dark matter with liquid-argon detectors,\u201d introducing the DarkSide-20k and DEAP-3600 experiments, and attended other presentations in the field of dark matter and astroparticle physics.<\/p>
