On the 10th of March Dr Marek Walczak came back from a scientific travel to INFN Naples. The goal of his travel was to participate in tests of a veto photodetector unit for the DarkSide-20k experiment, which is one of the project tasks. <\/p>
During the first week Marek worked with the local team on preparing the setup.\u00a0 After confirming that the unit worked as expected, scientists collectied laser data to test the sensors’ response to light and their behavior over time, which was completed in the second week. Tested unit was then brought to AstroCeNT for further measurements in our laboratory. <\/p>
