From November 12–15, Warsaw hosted the 3rd Telescope Meeting Annual Einstein, bringing together over 500 participants from Europe and beyond in a hybrid format. The event was organized by the University of Warsaw (Uniwersytet Warszawski) and the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (Centrum Astronomiczne im. M. Kopernika PAN).
The Einstein Telescope (ET) is a next-generation gravitational wave observatory designed to push the boundaries of our understanding of the universe. The meeting provided a platform for researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to discuss key developments in the project, including technological advancements, site evaluations, and collaboration frameworks.
Astrocent played an active role during the meeting, with team members delivering presentations on their latest research contributions. Additionally, Astrocent supported the event as part of the Local Organizing Committee. The team’s involvement highlights its commitment to advancing gravitational wave science and its participation in one of the most ambitious scientific projects in Europe.
