On the final day of July, the NCBR office hosted the “Teaming for Excellence” conference, bringing together 7 beneficiaries of the program.
During the event, three Polish centres of excellence funded by the Horizon 2020 program — Sano Center for Computational Medicine, ENSEMBLE3 sp. z o. o., and NOMATEN — presented summaries of their recent activities. Representatives from the following projects, which were recently awarded grants under the #HoryzontEU program, shared their future plans:
🔸 TRIO-VI, coordinated by the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences,
🔸 AstroCeNT Plus, coordinated by the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences (NCAC PAS),
🔸 P4Health, coordinated by Łukasiewicz – PORT.
Head of AstroCeNT, Prof. Leszek Roszkowski, outlined the vision for evolving the Astrocent International Research Agenda into a new independent Center for Particle Astrophysics in Poland.
The conference concluded with a dynamic discussion on the challenges and opportunities in developing “teaming” centres of excellence in Poland.
