Prof. Wada also presented the status of DarkSide-20k, a next-generation dark matter detector currently under construction, and discussed how the same technologies are being adapted for medical imaging, especially in advanced PET scanners.

Earlier, on 28 March, Dr. André Filipe Cortez gave a talk titled “Enhanced Optical Amplification Structures for Dark Matter Searches.” His presentation focused on innovative photonic technologies developed at Astrocent to enhance the sensitivity of detectors used in experimental astroparticle physics.

We look forward to more joint events and collaborative initiatives in the near future.

Views: 3 The scientific collaboration between Astrocent and the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw grows, driven by

[1

post-2154","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-news
["GET
